Position Title: Technical Support Specialist

KLENZAN—ZECHIN is a local dynamic specialty chemicals and detergent &Sanitizer manufacturer. Its quality materials are supplying to major manufacturers in different industry: Food & Beverage, Institutional, Personal care, Health care etc, Klenzan has around forty-five employees with two manufacturing factories (Shanghai and Jiaxing) and branch facilities and sales representatives in Chengdu, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Suzhou, Shenyang, Harbin, Hohhot, Beijing and other cities.
To align with fast growth in Food and Beverage business, Klenzan Technical Division in China has an immediate opportunity of Technical Support Specialist to support the strategic initiative.
Location: Shanghai/ Jiaxing
Position Summary:
· The position will be responsible for identification and development of new applications to meet various changing needs from existing and potential customers, provision of technical service, and support of market research projects for detergent &Sanitizer product applications in health and hygiene industries in China.
· The successful candidate is expected to be of strong technical background (microbiology, biology /food/ hygiene science or related), possess good communication and analytical skills, and able to work independently and of good team workmanship as well.
Key Relationship:
· Reports to technical manager - Treatment
· Manages All technical issue and service both for Klenzan, Customers and Distributors
Major Responsibility:
· Product technical support to customers and distributors in health and hygiene
· Support in sales and marketing communications, such as industrial trade shows, technical seminars etc.
· Support in product optimization and new product development
· Product and new technology introduction / training , internal and external
· Key link of Klenzan Chemical plant and business division in technical service and technical marketing programs.
· Support in monitoring and analysis of market / technology trend, and competition
Key Selection Criteria:
· Bachelor’s degree up, in microbiology, hygiene or food science/engineering / or related majors.
· Two year work experience in technical marketing / technical sales, or product research and development (formulation) in specialty chemicals for industrial biocides, and health and hygiene industry experience a plus. Work experience in multi-national company / agencies a plus.
· Self initiative and result oriented, and good team workmanship, Commitment to excellence.
· Good communication and presentation skills.
· Good analytical skills.
· Fluent English and Mandarin.
