Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and reporting on process performance, product cost and operational logistics;

• Troubleshooting, problem solving and proactive support of the manufacturing process;

• Analyzing problems, make recommendations, and implement solutions as appropriate;

• Leading and supporting continuous improvement efforts in technical process with IB knowledge ring teams and plant operational ring teams;

• Performing projects in multiple technical aspects of manufacturing. (Fermentation, Recovery, Formulation, Product Quality, Energy saving, Continuous Improvement, and Manufacturability);

• Development of technical assumptions for Annual Budget, quarterly standards and ongoing analysis of cost and performance;

• Leading and supporting new product and process introductions to the plant, interfacing with others in the company;

• Conducting cost, material and efficiency studies;

• Provide basic data for site capital projects;

• Develop and Maintain process technology package.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be an effective, results-driven, self-directed and motivated team player who communicates in an open, honest manner. In addition, qualified candidates should possess the following:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or related field;

• A keen mind for problem solving, troubleshooting, decision making, and generating ideas to continually improve the process;

• Desire to be a part of a company that emphasizes Safety and health, Environmental Stewardship, Highest ethical behavior and Respect for people;

• Prior experience in a liquid chemical processing facility is preferred;

• Experience utilizing statistical process control methodology;

• Strong written and verbal English skills;

• Ability to work in a collaborative and virtual team environment.
